We use your email address to send updates about the Zero-Based Workforce launch, with your permission.

What is collected
We save your email in encrypted form, the time of your request, this consent version and an anonymous withdrawal reference. We use a keyed fingerprint of the address to avoid duplicates and honour withdrawals. A temporary keyed fingerprint of your network address helps limit automated requests. This signup is for ZBW launch updates. It does not create a membership or add you to a sales campaign.
Where it is processed
Vercel hosts this page and processes requests. Neon provides the private database in the United States. Folk stores your email, signup date and permission status in our private ZBW New signups group so we can manage launch communications. Beehiiv stores your email and subscription status to send a confirmation and ZBW launch updates. We do not use this permission to add you to unrelated newsletters. These providers may process technical connection and security information under their service arrangements. This page has no advertising, analytics or tracking pixels and sets no application cookies. Theme changes last only for the current page.
How long it is kept
Your email is kept for up to 24 months from signup, unless you withdraw sooner. A daily maintenance task removes expired email data and temporary request-limit records. A non-readable address fingerprint and consent/withdrawal record remain so a repeated request cannot silently add a withdrawn address again. We review continued retention when the launch list closes.
Leaving the list and your rights
Use the withdrawal link shown after signup, or email Jamie. Withdrawal removes your email from the active signup record and queues updates in Beehiiv and Folk, with automatic retries if needed. If a Beehiiv request has an uncertain outcome, an encrypted recovery copy is retained only to complete the subscription withdrawal. That copy is removed once the result is verified. Beehiiv may retain a suppressed subscription record to honour your email preferences. You can also use the unsubscribe link in each Beehiiv email. For a contact created solely for this list, we also remove the signup email from Folk. If you already have a separate relationship with ZBW or the contact is used in another group, that contact information is preserved and the launch-list status is marked withdrawn. Provider updates can take time during an outage, and an email already in progress may still arrive. You may also ask to see, correct or erase your information, restrict processing or receive a copy. We may need to confirm that a request comes from the address holder. You may raise a concern with your relevant data-protection authority.
